Background[]
When a teenager disappears on a bridge near Jericho, jaffe and several other sheriff's deputies are investigating the car found on the bridge. Two marshals come to ask them questions about the disappearance of the teenager. Jaffe, although surprised by the age of the so-called marshals, tells them the facts and then leaves after Jaffe gives them the information.
Later, Jaffe finds one of the marshals in a motel and discovers that they are fake marshals and arrests him.
