The seven deadly sins are a group of seven demons that appear in the season three episode "The Magnificent Seven". Despite having significant powers, they are only black-eyed demons, though possess special powers unique to themselves. Because of these powers, they were originally prisoned deep in Hell close to Lilith, unable to get out before the gates of hell were opened at the season two finale. They seem to follow their own agenda after Azazel's death, as Pride is disgusted to to think of Sam Winchester as a leader for a Demonic army.

The Seven Deadly Sins

Lust

A beautiful girl in a constant state of lust, with the power to be any girl a guy most lusts. She tries this power on Dean - this appears to have no effect, however.

Gluttony

Doesn't say anything relevant in the show and is quickly exorcised after entering the place Bobby, Sam and Dean were hiding in.

Greed

Claims that they are not sins but actually "Natural human instinct".

Sloth

Doesn't say anything relevant in the show. Kills a family by making them too lazy to eat.

Wrath

Doesn't say anything relevant in the show.

Envy

Doesn't say anything relevant in the show.

Pride

Claims to be the root of all sin, possibly because it was Lucifer's pride that caused him to try to be better than God.

Powers and Abilities

Despite being black-eyed demons, the Seven Deadly Sins are more powerful than the average demon. Like all demons, the Seven Deadly Sins can possess people, which is demonstrated when Envy possesses a man who is taking out a bag of trash at night, in the opening scene. In addition to this, their powers include telekinesis, which is demonstrated when Pride creates a minor earthquake that destroys a devil's trap on the ceiling, and most prominently--the ability to incite people to each of the seven deadly sins. For example, a family starves to death (Sloth), Isaac drinks drain cleaner (Gluttony), and a girl slams a woman into a windowshield just to get her shoes (Envy). Like all demons, the Seven Deadly Sins are immune to all human diseases.

Possession

Like all demons, they can take control of a person's mind and body. This is obvious as they are in host bodies.

Telekinesis

The Seven Deadly Sins can move objects with their minds. Pride demonstrates this by creating a small earthquake to destroy a devil's trap on the ceiling on the floor Sam was on before attempting to kill him.

Superhuman Strength and Endurance

Like all demons, they are very strong and can withstand anything a human wouldn't.

Ability to Influence Human Behavior

Demonstrated by some of them, each sin can influence a person to do what they represent. Sloth made a family sit on a couch and die of starvation and dehydration, Gluttony made Isaac drink drain cleaner and Greed made a woman kill another one over a pair of shoes.

Invulnerability

They are invulnerable to almost all weapons, except for Ruby's knife and the Colt.

Trivia

Despite including the seven deadly sins in Supernatural, it is unknown if the seven heavenly virtues also exist within the same universe.
